Meet Shawn Thomas, DMD, MS

I’m Dr. Shawn Thomas and I’m excited to join the team at Progressive Perio & Associates! 

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University Chicago, graduating magna cum laude, and went on to receive my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. Following dental school, I completed my specialty training in periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh in 2019. With over ten years of experience in the dental field, I provide comprehensive periodontal care, including non-surgical and surgical therapy, regenerative procedures and dental implant placement. 

I’m deeply passionate about helping patients preserve their natural teeth while improving their overall oral health through a thoughtful, patient-centered approach. I’m truly enthusiastic about becoming part of Progressive Perio and look forward to collaborating with this exceptional team to serve the Naperville/Aurora community. Building trust, educating patients and delivering high-quality care are central to my philosophy, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue that work here.
